Built in in-situ concrete, a material selected for its plasticity, the curves of the driveway required shuttering carpenter, Brendan Burke, (for John Sisk & Sons) to create a unique formwork for each 2m run of kerbing. The concrete was ground and polished, exposing a large Galway Limestone aggregate. (thirtythreetrees: Jimi Shields + Maria Vlahos)
